Description

This car was built specifically for the Targa Newfoundland by Sean Hyland (SEANHYLANDMOTORSPORTS DOT COM) and has successfully completed 4 events (2005-2008) with podiums in class. It maintains a title and license plate and has only 10500 miles since built.
(The car started off as a perfect condition, clean title red Mustang GT from the USA.)
This was a 6 figure build $$ in 2005 and is intended to be bullet proof for tarmac rallying.
The car was stripped down to the bare tub for a FIA and SCCA legal roll cage with fire suppression system and cool suit.
The body was treated to a very expensive Candy paint in the Parnelli Jones theme.
The car recieved a light weight bonnet, Cobra R wing and Cobra front splitter with Zeus fastners.
Window nets and removeable plexi windows.
2001 Cobra Engine built to 400hp. (Multimatic specs for Mustang Racing series at the time)
4.6L 32 valve 4v, sleeved to 3.700 (5.0L) bore, stock stroke, Manley H Beam rods and Yates/Rousch road race cams.
Dynojet Wideband Commander.
5 speed transmission
Detroit locker rear end with 4.10 gear
Supension consists of adjustable camber/caster plates, Moton shocks, Custom coil springs, height adjustable rear links, Steeda control arms and sway bars.
Twin Bosch fuel pumps (able to support 1000hp), fuel safe fuel cell.
Fluidyne Aluminum radiator with electric fans.
Stoptech brakes
Spare Steeda wheels, pads, discs, filters, belts, pulleys etc.
Car was always refreshed by Sean Hyland after each event.
Car is now serviced annually and only used for car shows and cruise nights.
Detuned to pump gas.
Current Inspection performed by NAPA auto and included with sale.
Would like to see this car go to a good home and get used on the track as it was intended. Would also make a great tarmac rally car as it still maintains the terratrip intercom system and terratrip computer.
I have had strong offers for the powertrian and I have have had strong offers for the body but personally I feel the car is too good in it's current state to part out so I cannot bring myself to do it.
Shipping is worldwide.
I am located in a sea port that has access worldwide via container ship as an alternative to ground transportation.
Willing to assit buyer with inspection and transportation arrangements.
