I've got a pre-order in NSW for a 2016 Ford Mustang GT V8 5.0L Manual in Shadow Black. I've decided to on-sell it because I sold my car off recently and it will be too long to go without a car and wait to take delivery of this car. No faults with this car of course, as it is a brand new car.
Australian spec GT Performance Pack, which is standard with 6 pistons Brembo's, suspension upgrades, K-brace etc.
Car can be registered to the buyer directly when it arrives. I will have to follow you on the day to pick the car up. Stamp duty, dealer delivery and
everything else is included in the price, as I will not be registering under my name and then transferring to you. It will be under your name from day 1. Warranty
etc, will all be under your name as the first owner. The dealer has also included some kind of paint/polish package that is apparently worth $500.
Drive away price was agreed on contract at $61,970. I have paid a $1000 deposit in June 2015. (Current RRP is $64,470 in NSW)
There are no options available in Australia apart from stripes, painted black roof (this is a black car, so of course there is no point), and nickel wheels. All options
are listed on Ford Australia's website and are standard for all GT's.
ETA was July/August 2016 for arrival to the dealer, but as you are aware of the current wait times which is 14 to 16 months at the time of writing, extending into
Q1 and Q2 2017, that can vary. So from today, you're only looking at 7 to 8 months give or take. Build date ETA was May 2016, but that may speed up since there
seems to be a faster build to ship time on recent builds.
RRP has increased in December by $2,500 for GT's.
I'm looking for any serious buyer who is interested in 'buying' my pre-order off me. This is basically my initial $1000 deposit + $7500. If you were to order
one today, it will be $2,500 more than my June RRP anyway, so really you are only going to be paying $5,000 above RRP and you will be getting the car at
least 6 months, if not earlier than if you were to order today.
If you are genuinely interested, all I require is a $8500 deposit upfront to hold the pre-order.
Total price is $60,970 to the dealer (balance minus the deposit I paid) + $8500, bringing the total cost to $69,470.
To save time, the deposit fee is strictly non negotiable. If you are not prepared to pay the deposit, you can always order one at a Ford dealer directly if you don't
mind waiting 14 to 16 months for delivery.
