Description
Rare 1979 Mustang Notchback Ghia with factory 302. Very limitednumber of Ghias came with the 5.0 option. Most came with the 4 or 6cylinder.
109000 original kms (68000 miles). Engine runs mint. Decals still on valve covers. C4 automatic with 2.49 rear. Previous owners were elderly and did not drive this hard. (with a 2.49:1 rear how could anyone :-)
OEM GT/Cobra Steering wheel, Console with display, AM/FM Cassette. Factory stripper - no a/c or power door locks.
10 hole alloys with 15" rubber - should be replaced.
Floors need some work (2 holes in floor pan - previous owner never believed in rubber floor mats - can be easily patched).Headliner sagging. Seats will need cleaning. Dash top cracked. Needs windshield (hascrack). Drivers side outer door handle off - have spare. Trunk lid hasrust under lower lip. Air pump is seized but has been bypassed.
Comes with 79 Pace car front end complete with air dam and fogs. This is very hard to find in good shape.
Can it be driven? Yes, but the brakes do need attention as they are originals. Better to trailer..
Excellent project car and a very hard to find combo..
