Description
For sale, we have a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. This car has undergone a complete restoration and modification; it was purchased as a rolling shell by the current owner in 2007 and has since been turned into the ultimate fastback street machine!
Under the hood is a 331ci stroker motor built by the ‘Engine Factory’. It puts out 435HP and 400ft/lbs of torque.
Featuring Edelbrock Jr heads, March serpentine pulley system, JB long tube ceramic 1¾” headers, high output ignition system with rev limiter, high-performance big block aluminum rad with dual electric fans, 2.5” custom mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust with Borla mufflers and a full polish kit.
The motor is mated to a Tremec TKO600 5speed manual transmission- featuring a high-grade steel bellhousing and a high-performance clutch kit with a hydraulic slave cylinder conversion. The rear differential is a Posi 3.89 with Strange axles and a custom carbon fibre driveshaft.
The front suspension is comprised of TCP coil-overs with dual adjustable Vari-Shocks, while the rear is setup with a high performance leaf and shackle system – also with dual adjustable Vari-Shocks.
The steering was upgraded with a TCP power rack and pinion.
The chassis has been reinforced with a TCP Engine brace, TCP sub-frame connectors, TCP X-Brace and dual welded torque boxes.
The brakes were upgraded to a Baer front and rear disc system with cross drilled rotors.
The wheels are Billet Specialties Stilettos, 17”x7” fronts and 17”x8” rears with Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 R-Composite tires.
The Interior was built to the same standards as the rest of the car. It is outfitted with custom leather/alcantara seats and door cards, wool carpeting, recovered OEM dash, tilt steering column and an Autometer gauge setup.
This car also features a custom stereo system including two JL Audio amps, and two JL Audio 10" subwoofers built into the trunk and Boston Acoustics Pro-Series interior speakers.
This design is tasteful and elegant- the added power, reliability, and modern creature comforts are what set this apart from a stock fastback while maintaining what made the car an icon. Over six figures have been invested.
