1986 Ford Mustang LX 5.0L Coupe/ Notchback
This coupe has been stored away for 15 years before being tastefully resurrected
Body:
Brilliant Silver Ice Metallic paint with black out on the window trim, exterior door handles, door cylinder locks, 5.0 Coyote emblems
interior is very nice original blue and complete with a Sun Tachometer mounted on the column
has the original Ford Premium AM/FM cassette radio with factory AMP that works with Harmon Infinity speakers (4) replacing the dash and parcel shelf speakers
even the ashtray is in good shape and not broken (common issue)
Under the Hood:
The roller 5.0L has been professionally rebuilt (still a 302), new oil pump, bearings, rings, ARP hardered oil pump drive, double roller timing chain, timing cover, water pump, HV 110gph fuel pump, most parts on the engine are new.
1993 Cobra GT-40 (F3ZE-AA) cylinder heads were reconditioned and installed with ARP head bolts
Comp Camshaft (35-440-8) is a hydraulic roller with 281/281 duration with .512"/.512" lift
Weiand Stealth Intake Manifold holds an Edelbrock 600cfm 4v (1405) carburetor,
MSD Pro-Billet distributor, MSD Blaster SS coil, MSD 6AL ignition box.
3 row aluminum radiator with twin electric fans controlled by a flex a lite 2 stage controller.
1 wire HO alternator with a billet mounting bracket
Shorty headers flow into an O/R H-pipe dumped in from of rear axle
Transmission:
World Class Tremec T-5 Z-Spec (AM251) much stronger transmission with Hurst Shifter knob is capable of 330 ft/lbs of torque
Steering and Suspension:
3:73 limited slip axle, upgraded Lincoln brakes, calipers, booster and master cylinder, BBK Sport springs,
BBK frame connectors with seat supports, shocks/ struts, Lakewood driveshaft loop, PS pump with external cooler and tie rod ends
then had the mustang professionally aligned. The speedometer has been calibrated for use with 275/50R15 tires
Front wheels/ tires:
Weld Racing Drag Lite 15x3 with 165/80R15 Kuhmo tires
Rear wheels/ tires:
Weld Racing Drag Lite 15x8 with 275/50R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial tires
I have tried to list everything that has been done to this hard to find Coupe
most of these parts have 200 miles or less on them
Odometer showing 116,xxx miles
