1968 Ford Mustang Convertible 2-Door 289 4.7L V8

NOTE**** If you have a zero feedback rating you must contact me prior to bidding.**** 1968 Mustang Convertible, been in storage since 1990, 289 V8, automatic transmission, 89k original miles, needs full restoration. Its candy apple red, black top, black interior. The car runs and yard drives. The engine actually runs and idles pretty smooth, no smoke, water pump is noisy and weeps.Looks like the gas tank has been cleaned but not hooked up, so i run it off a plastic tank which I will include in the sale. Brakes are very weak from sitting. Needs the usual convertible rust repair on areas of the frame rails, floors, torque boxes, and inner rockers. Passenger door body gap is very tight.Previous owner started to do some work several years ago including some patchwork on the floor, and primered some of the body parts. I believe all the parts are there for the car except the bumpers, some trim pieces, and carpet. I have a new passenger quarter panel, and tail light panel that's included (although tail light panel looks in good shape) CT does not have titles for antique cars so sale will come with CT Q-1 bill of sale plus I have previous registrations showing owner history. Again, this is a classic 68' stang' convertible that's 96% complete, and needs full restoration, sold in as-is condition. As such the reserve is very fair (and confidential).
