Description
I am selling for a friend and all questions will be directed to him. He has too many cars
so this one must go.
TITLED AS A 1932 FORD IN TEXAS
The roadster is a Kilborn fiberglass body that was prepped and painted with PPG Corvette Red
two stage paint. All red parts of the car are covered with base coat/clear coat. The windshield
stanchions are from Kilborn and are polished aluminum. Swan neck rear view mirrors are from
Mr. Roadster. The spreader bars and hood chrome are from Bob Drake.
The frame was built with boxed American Stamping rails, a Model A front cross member and a
Speedway tubular center section. It has a completely chromed TCI 4" drop front axle with
hairpins and Vega steering.
For the rear suspension, it has a TCI triangulated 4-bar setup with Carrera QA1 adjustable shocks
on a Ford 8" rear end. Coker steel wheels and wide white wall radial tires sit at each corner.
The engine is a late 1970's 4-bolt 350 Chevy that has been completely rebuilt. It has 30 overbore
Federal Mogel pistons PC rings, Clevite bearings, Crain 350hp camshaft and Melling oil pump.
Also, the heads were rebuilt with all new valves, springs, retainers and rocker arms. A polished
Edelbrock manifold and 650 carburetor sits on top. Coated headers and Magnaflow chrome
mufflers get rid of the exhaust. A GM HEI distributor supplies the ignition.
The radiator is from 0-to-cool with a Derale electric cooling fan. The transmission is a rebuilt
350 Turbo with a shift kit.
The custom interior is Torch Red and Bone White fabricated by Roth's Upholstery. The carpet is Flame Red.
The trunk has the same treatment as the interior plus uses a Coke cooler for the battery box. The steering
column is a GM tilt unit that has been smoothed and chromed. A billet column drop houses an
Auto meter tachometer. Speedway steering u-joints and shafts connect to the Vega box. A
Southern Rods Banjo wheel, a Lokar shifter and Autometer gauges complete the interior. The car
has 244 miles on it. It runs and drives great. It does have a small
windshield crack pictured. If you need a picture of anything on the car, message me or
if you have questions.
Ready to cruise..all it needs is a new owner.
