1933 Ford Speedstar

1933 Ford Speedstar is perfect for any collection. This 5 year build that started with a body and chassis from Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop also ended at delivery. It took three times as long to bring this body to where it is now as the body did not have any consistency from the left to the right side. It had waves in it, and the gaps and thicknesses were all over the board. Basically it was reconstructive surgery to get this car to the degree and quality it is now. The nose cone was stretched about 3 inches to accommodate the condenser for the AC. The inside was all raw fiberglass and that was all smoothed out. The whole car was re-gel coated and sanded back down to get it to where you see it now. The car was built with all the luxuries of a daily driver, including air conditioning, electric windows, custom adjustable seats and a wireless sound system that is not only stealth, but pumps thru multiple speakers strategically placed thru out the cockpit and has sub woofers tucked underneath the gas tank.
When taking a peek at the interior, you will notice custom made molded door panels, dashboard and console which all waterfall together and each component is removable for service if needed including the leather floor. Driver’s seat is adjustable and the whole interior is built to be modular so it is very easy to work on.
The power plant under the hood is a LS-6 mated to a Tremec 6-speed transmission driving a Winters independent quick change fully polished rear end with inboard disc brakes. Heidts superglide independent front end with rack and pinion steering. Front and rear Wildwood disks with 4 piston calibers completely polished. Billet Specialties Chicayne front 17 x 7 rear 20 x10 wheels. Complete leather interior including floor with alligator inserts. The windshield is completely custom fabricated double-laminated glass with an internal gasket so it fits nice and flush with the body.
The color is Ferrari Fly yellow tri stage with custom pearl mix.
With over 5 years and well over 240K invested in this build you will not find a more refined or nicer 33 Speedstar out there anywhere. This is a collector’s dream car that not only can be displayed but was built to be driven and to be shown. A true award winner. With only 600 break-in miles this car is being offered for sale.
