1937 Ford Slantback Sedan
All steel except for the rear fenders which are fiberglass and have been slightly widened. Body is all smooth with smoothed drip rail, hidden hinges, power remote door poppers, power rear deck lid, flush third brake light and tail lights, and flush gas filler. Curved one piece windshield, tinted side and rear glass, and recessed license plate. The frame is from Chassis Engineering. It has parallel leaf rear suspension with an 8 inch Ford rear end with a brand new posi center section and 3.50 gears. Front suspension is Helix with tubular A-arms and coil overs. It’s got Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors and polished calipers. Billet Specialties Vintec wheels 16x7 front and 17x8 rears with Goodyear Eagle tires 205/55/16 front and 255/60/17 rear. Fuel tank is aluminum.
The motor is a brand new Chevy 383 stroker from Smeding Performance with aluminum heads, Edelbrock air gap manifold with endurashine finish and Holley 770 street avenger carb. It has 450 Horsepower and 466 ft/lbs of torque. Have dyno sheet.
Has a completely rebuilt turbo 350 with brand new Coen 2600 stahl converter. Interior has power windows, vintage air/heat, Kenwood stereo, Autometer gauges, polished flaming river tilt steering column, and Billet Specialties steering wheel. Car is fully insulated with Hush mat and Insulation Technologies mat. Some panels made but needs upholstery finished.
Car drives and rides excellent. No disappointments.
Car has 8300 miles- Motor, posi-rearend and transmission have less than 1000 miles.
