Description
This 1947 Ford has a solid body and undercarriage. Paint was done years ago and has a nice shine. The rolling chassis is original. Motor is believed to be a 1951 Flathead V8 and is stamped 1BA. The motor runs good at idle but does have a knock as the rpms are picked up. Transmission was rebuilt and does occasionally jump out of second upon deceleration, not sure why as no expense was spared in rebuilding it. If driven properly this isn't an issue. Interior was redone some years ago and is in nice shape. 6 volt system is still in use. Will need new tires. For $8000 US this car is a great buy. Simply change the motor and away you go.
