Description
1950 Ford F-1 with original flathead V-8, original 6 volt,
and 3 speed transmission. Full frame off
restoration with frame and many other parts powder coated. All stainless steel hardware used
during re-assembly. All hardware was
replaced as factory build book specifies (type, size, length, thread count,
etc.). This book and many spare parts
included in sale. Polished stainless
bumpers and bed rails. New glass and
gaskets all around. New wiring harness . Radio works, but is not very loud. Body panels were individually painted the
original Sheridan blue with “just a hint of fine metallic” added and clearcoat applied
after full, down to bare metal and primed prep. New Coker wheels and
tires.
This was a father-son project that took over 18 months to complete as I emphasized the “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right” philosophy as we brought it back to near factory original. Recently drove to local car show and won “Best of Show”.
It is being sold as-is, where-is. I’m located in North Georgia and you are free to contact me with questions and to inspect it or have it inspected before bidding. If you need a particular photo or other information, please contact me and I will post it or respond as quickly as possible.
It has approximately 100 miles on it since the restoration. It has not seen the rain since restoration. I just don’t get it out much and would like it to find a home where it can be driven more and the beauty can be appreciated by others as you cruise up and down the way.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of winning this auction.
