Description
Up
for sale is a meticulously handcrafted 1934 Ford pickup. The cab has been
chopped 5 inches (127mm), channeled 4 inches (101.6mm) and stretched 10 inches
(254mm). The stretch the cab went through the doors and the cab body was lengthened
to maintain the visual proportion between the cab and windows. The engine is a
1951 Ford flathead which has been completely rebuilt using all new components
including an Isky Max-1 cam, polished Edelbrock heads and intake topped off
with dual chrome Stromberg 97 carburetors. The engine also has a chrome
Powermaster PowerGEN and XS Torque starter.
It has a T5 five-speed manual transmission with Cornhusker's flathead adaptor and hydraulic throw-out bearing running into a Ford 9 inch axle with 390 gears. The rear suspension is a chrome four-link with Panhard bar and chrome coil over shocks. The front brakes are So-Cal polished finned drum disk brakes, the rear brakes are polished finned drum brakes. The chassis is entirely handcrafted and powder coated satin black. The stainless steel fuel cell is 21 gallons (79.5 liters) with electric Holly fuel system. The front suspension has been entirely chromed to show quality levels. The chassis hides a set of backup lights that activate when putting the transmission in reverse.
The cab has been painted metallic silver with a 50% gloss/matte clear coat allowing it to look like unpainted steel. The dash is out of a 1958 Impala which has been cut to fit and the ends modified to match. All billet knobs with Autometer Ultra Pro-comp gauges which contain LED warning indicators. The dash retains the original glovebox which is usable and hides the Vintage-Air air conditioner controls (yes, I said air conditioning). There are billet grab handles above the door to assist in getting in and out. There are two front overhead pockets containing USB charging ports and an 3.5mm audio input to the Alpine amplifier/speaker system. The front windshield swings open and has windshield wipers.
The grille is a real 1934 truck grille with polished billet trim. It has 1934 commercial headlights and 1937 taillights are mounted under the louvered tailgate. The bed floor has Linex Premium with UV protection and a quick release racing fuel cap.
The interior turned out absolutely amazing. The forward folding bench seat allows access to the battery box, fuse panel, and audio equipment. The roof interior, kick panels and overhead storage pockets are all upholstered. The floor is carpeted with matching floor mats.
The project has been meticulously handcrafted and took seven years to complete. This 1934 pickup is only one like it in the world so you can be assured that you will own a unique one-of-a-kind truck.
