Description

1961 Ford Falcon Ranchero. Solid driver with lots of style. I use this little truck to haul bikes all over and it gets driven very regularly. Car starts right up every time and is very reliable. Motor is very healthy and handling is crisp. Lowered with 3 inch blocks in the back and lowered springs up front. Car gets 14MPG and will cruise 70 all day long.
Power train:
Drivetrain conversion professionally done and this car now sports a hi-output 289 and a C4 transmission from a 68 mustang. Fit and finish is perfect. Freshly rebuilt 8.8 inch 5 lug rear end and brand new differential. New Holley 600CFM vac secondary carb with an electric choke and an edelbrock dual plane manifold. Repaced generator with an internally regulated modern 3G 200 amp alternator. Stock exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust, perfect mellow tone. Electronic ignition hidden in the distributor cap.
Brakes:
All brakes just rebuilt, all new lines, drums, shoes and cylinders.
Interior:
Rare, fully optioned factory car.
Dash, seats, carpet and door panels in excellent condition.
Padded dash with no cracks.
2-tone interior
Aftermarket sliding back window but installed very nicely.
Dash lights, vacuum wipers and heater all work perfectly.
Aluminum grant steering wheel (horn inop)
Sun pro tach
Alpine head unit with 6 Boston acoustic speakers, needs wired.
Exterior:
Original 1961 paint.
Rust in lower rear corners, around windshield frame. Worst is on the leading edge of the hood. Some rust on the drip rails, previous owner applied some body filler. No leaks into the cab or anything like that.
Fuel filler has been relocated into the bed. Could be brought back to stock easily.
Any questions will be promptly answered. Trades ok.
