Ibrought this car in Rosamond California and it has a very Low HumidyHOT Dry Dessert Climate just 1 mile away from the Famous Willow SpringsRaceway - this car has never left California - It was Sold Newthere as it has Black Plates and Ordered New in Los Angeles Area sold new in the San Fernando Valley and never left there !!!
Itsis definitely a projectcar but well worth the effort - It Runs and Drives - Owner told me the motor is getting a little tied and is probably due for a rebuild soon - but I discovered it had a faulty spark plug and was only running on 7 cylinders - so a good tune up and some new spark plugs and leads and it might be ok - certainly sounds alot better now - will need to be mechanicallychecked thru including Steering Exhaust (will need some exhaust repairs for sure) , Brakes and Suspension before itwill be hitting theroads again of course
It Can be Registered in all States a Left Hand Drive - I have the Import Approval Permit etc .
TheBody is absolutely Rust Free - the previous owner brought it off the Original Owner at a Garage Sale - he actually brought it off the owners wife - she sold it without the owner knowing - was just another old truck sitting in her yard and ahe wanted it gone - the guy I brought it off was loading it on his trailer when man came home - and asked what he was doing - he told him he had just brought it - he offered to sell it back to him for what he paid for it after finding out the story - but the man said just take it - wasnt worth the grief of dealing with his wife (BITCH) - he had two Talledagas sitting in the garage - so guess he was relieved sell hadnt sold them as well !!!
The Floors are Mint - Itwill need a coat of paint to make it real nice again of course - butits an all Original Paint on the car - so its a very goodstarting point - its got a very minor few dings and dents around the place butmost importantly there is no rust. Or its got a great Patina Look as it is - give it a good wax job and you could drive it as it is. Look at the Tray / Tray Area - it has never been used as a work truck - its perfect in there !!!
All the Glass is Real Nice except it does need a Windsreen - but they are the same as XW XY Falcon - all the door glasses roll up and down just fine
It has a Set of Genuine Ford Kelsey Hayes Riveted 1969 Chrome 12 Slot Wheels with Genuine Ford Stainless GT Hub Caps - I also am throwing in a Aftermarket Cobra Jet Hood Scoop - I just sat it on the Bonnet to take the Pics - New Owner will have to fit it !!!
TheInterior will need the Usual Stuff being from the Dessert - Seat Covers& Dash Pad & Carpets etc but all that stuff is available from several restoration suppliers in USA - Dearborn Macs etc
Its getting impossible to find Rust Free 1969 Utes these daysanywhere - Let alone a real cool looking Ranchero with Heaps of Rare Options - Will Make a Great Company Promotional Shop Ute - or Great Sunday Driver !!!
You wont find a cleaner 60s Ford Ute to start with anywhere in the world - try and find a XW XY Falcon Ute with No Rust in it at all and factory Bucket Seats Console and Rev Counter GT Mirrors - Beat you cant find one - if you could it would be $50k ++++ !!!
