Description

This is a 1932 Ford Roadster project, with Maserati V8 engine and Jaguar suspension. Frame is by TCI, with Jaguar E-type front suspension, Jaguar independent rear suspension, Wilwood disc brakes. Transmission is Chrysler 727 Torqueflite built for Maserati, and is a fresh rebuild. Driveline is modified Maserati.
Engine is out of a Quattroporte III. Dual overhead cam, hemi heads, four Weber carburetors, all factory. Engine is in good condition, has been test-run with no smoke or rattles, and was then completely detailed and installed in the car. Will need carburetor linkage, some exhaust work, and final hookup before it'll be ready to run again. New radiator and shell will also need to be hooked up to engine.
Main brake lines and master cylinder will need to be installed. The car will need a gas tank, gas line plumbing, steering column, instrumentation, complete interior, lighting, and wiring. Body is fiberglass, still under gelcoat, will need paint. Frame is fully powdercoated. Suspension has had extensive chrome work done. Car has been in storage for a while, and thanks to a rat attack some of the chrome will have to be redone. I believe the body should be removed in order to fully re-detail all suspension, running gear, and frame. Body is an easy off with only about six bolts in it at this time.
This has been a passion project for many years, but unfortunately bad health is making me stop. Hoping someone will be able to take it the rest of the way.
