1948 Ford Original Convertible Car (Fat Fender), professional ground up build completed in 2005. A California RUST FREE car, 302 V-8 with mild build, automatic transmission with an overdrive, 8" ford rear end with highway cruising gears. Mustang ll front end with power disc brakes,custom adjustable shocks for desired ride height, Everything on this is either new or restored, Ron Francis wiring kit, all 12 volts with new battery . Paint is all lacquer India Porsche Red and has a brilliant shine, chrome and stainless are in wonderful condition, Interior is all Naugahyde and is excellent. all lights and gauges are in working order. Professional pinstriping by Shakey Jake! Coker white walls with ford caps and trim rings, Nice. equipped with an auxiliary electric cooling fan up front. nice Kenwood cd stereo nicely tucked away in the glove box, sounds great. Has all electric convertible top that works perfectly, top is all new canvas to match the interior. The car also has the original factory spot lights that work. Runs and drives smooth and fast down the highway with no issues. There is a lot more to say about this car, the older gentleman who built it is no longer around to enjoy it, the family wants to pass it on for someone to enjoy and drive. They are selling with no reserve to high bidder.
