What you see here for sale is a Very Original 99% Rust Free 1967 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop - Factory Z Code 390 Cubic Inch (6.4 litre) FE Big Block V8 Motor, with C6 Automatic Transmission & 9" Diff - Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Electric Windows, Tilt Column and this car is fitted with a very rare right hand mirror
The 1967 Thunderbird passenger side mirror.These are practically mythological beasts.Only 500 of these were produced in total for 1967 and 1968 - in other words, only 0.35% of cars had them.They were a dealer-installed option.These go for in excess of $1000 on eBay, even in poor condition.No replicas have ever been made.
I brought this car in Hayward Caifornia which is located in the Bay Area in California and it has a very Low Humidy Hot Dry Climate - the car has never left California - Sold New in San Jose Area - it still wears the original Black Number Plates !!!
It Runs and Drives fine - it will need to be checked thru mechanically before hitting the road again.
It does have a dent on the Right Rear Guard and Door - easy enough repair - but has never been fixed - it does have a couple of dings around the place - but pretty much original paint car and never been in any big accidents
It has a the original 15" wheels (5 Stud) and tyres with the factory dress hubcaps !!!
Its still a projectcar but a bloody easy one
Just Imported from USA this is a Real Clean & Original Car
It Can be Registered in all States a Left hand Drive - I have the Import Approval Permit etc .
The Body is Real Clean and Straight as a whole - it has got a few minor dings & dents around the place as well as the rear 1/4 damage but all real easy to fix before painting but most important thing about this car is that it is vitually rust free
There is a little just below the lower rear screen moulding its tiny only a couple of mm as shown in photo but thats all I could find - it will also need a coat of paint to make it real nice again as paint is pretty thin in places.
All the Glass is Nice.
The Upolstery is in really good condition - it does have a couple of minor splits on the drivers seat but thats about all I can fault with it !!!
Its getting impossible to find almost Almost Rust Free 1967 Cars these days anywhere let alone real cool looking T Bird that would fit 5 adults - great Sunday Car !!!!
The Last Photos shows how good this car would look with a paint job and some TLC!!
