Hard and Soft Top Present
Currently Registered, Runs and Drives Great
Head Turner
Body:
Normal wear for the age such as scratches, paint flaking and faded finish
Overall Presents nicely, Driver Quality
This is believed to be the original paint other than a minor touch up (Laquer Paint, no signs of over spray, taping, etc.)
Chrome is nice condition with no major defects
All floors (Trunk, etc,) and undercarriage are in excellent condition
Interior:
Carpets and Seat have been redone and are in excellent condition
All Gauges seem to function properly
Power Driver Seat Partially functions
Soft Top is present and is in nice condition
Spare Tire and Jack are Present
Mechanical:
This car is a pleasure to drive. Starts right up without hesitation. The 3-Speed on the floor transmission shifts smoothly with no grinds and the clutch grabs nicely. The parking brake is in great working order. The tires are like new with no dry rot present. The brakes are also like new, the undercarriage appears original and is in excellent condition. All brake lining etc have been gone through and are in great condition.There is some minor oil seepage etc. consistent with a 63 year old car. Recent service includes an oil change and new water pump. Still a 6-Volt.
Summary:
This car is an Unrestored Gem, Turn the key and drive with no issues. You can buy a restored one, you can buy a project and build it, but how often can you find a clean original driver car that is unmolested? This is a great opportunity to own a rare American Classic that is truly a survivor.
