1957 Ford Thunderbird

This is a truly great restored car.The car has had a complete body restoration 14 years ago in North Carolina. It has been under restoration or in storage the past 20 years. The 35,095 miles I believe to be correct. Originally this was a California car, then to North Carolina, and now in Illinois. The paint is 98% flawless with absolutely no rock chips. The only paint flaw is a 2 inch very minute paint crack in the upper LH fender that is very hard to see and cannot be picked up with a camera. The transmission was totally rebuilt by a certified Ford technician 2 years ago. While the engine was out, new rod and main bearings were installed along with a new oil pump. I also replaced the rear springs, all shocks, rubber brake lines, power steering cylinder and damper, and many other small parts. The power windows work fine and all the lights are functional. All of the gauges work and are accurate, however the clock does not work. The original Town and Country radio will work occasionally. The car runs great and tracks straight.
