1964 Ford Thunderbird

This matching numbers Thunderbird was fully restored in 2004-2005taking just over a year to complete. The car was restored using as muchof the original as was possible. As you can see in the restorationphotos nothing on this car was missed. This car has been in the familysince it was purchased from the original owner, and was restored topreserve the car. The car has right at 2,000 miles on it since therestore and rebuild of the power plant and drive train. As to beexpected with a driven car, it does have the normal wear of 2,000 miles.Very little time and energy would be required to put the car back into"trailered" show quality. There are a couple of small maintenance needs:the rear passenger window is off track (motor is fine) and occasionallythe pressure switch on the trunk flap gets out of adjustment requiringthe use of an override switch to be used to lift the trunk lid (hiddenunder the back seat) the radio is original but doesn't work and the fueland temp gauge do not work (there is a temp gauge hid under the dash)and a small exhaust leak. Overall I would rate the car a 9.5 in show carquality. More photos available upon request including restoration.

I'm selling the car because i just don't get to use it like the carsrequire and would enjoy knowing that it is getting the use and enjoymentthat is deserves.
