Description
Under 87K original miles. Champagne (Medium Gold Metallic) with black vinyl interior. Original California Black Plates. Original paint. Beautifull car. Includes a truck load of spare parts
Here's the story I was told by the previous owner: The car was originally purchased in Southern California by a doctor. He liked the look of the landau roof, but didn't like the faux wood trim in the interior, so he purchased a non-landau model and had the dealer add the vinyl roof and landau bars. He didn't drive it very much. The second owner purchased it for his daughter, who refused to drive it because it was so big, so he parked it in a storage barn when the third owner purchased it. The third owner kept the car in excellent condition, and acquired enough spare parts (new and used) to fill the car and the bed of a pick-up truck. All of the spare parts are included in the sale (including fender skirts, rear bumper, air cleaner, and boxes I haven't even looked through).
The air conditioning is disconnected and the factory compressor is in a box. The car has a new battery and starter. The paint is original and shiny, though getting thin in a couple of places (it looks to me like the driver-side front fender was painted at some point a long time ago because it photographs a slightly different shade, which could have happened at the factory or in transit).
There is no rust. The driver's seat bottom is showing some wear, and the headliner has been restitched in the rear right corner (visible in the pictures). Chrome is shiny. No cracks in the dash. Pictures are an accurate representation of the car and purrs like a kitten.
I inherited the car from the third owner. I've had it about a year, and put about 100 miles on it. It needs to go to someone who loves bullet birds and will appreciate it. I would say it is between a 2 and 3 in the Hagerty value guide.
