1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, Black, 2 tops. Soft top (vinyl) is white, hardtop (which is without the porthole option) is black.A driver, in very good condition. 292 c.i.d. V8 w/ 4 bbl. carb., 3 speed manual transmission, no overdrive. Rare mainly original car. Original paint other than front end, which was repainted mid-1980s due to rusted air vents running through fenders. Original interior, some tearing on seat. Soft and hardtops in good condition. Engine partially rebuilt mid-1980s--rings, bearings, valves ground. Good body, solid frame,and.floors. Fairly new wide white radial tires. I have owned this car for ten years, doing mainly local driving and shows.. Garaged. Runs and drives well. I am moving on to a '57 for a bit of additional room as I grow older.
