Description
Fully Restored Flame Red 1957 Thunderbird with White hardtop
and Black soft-top. This is an original California Thunderbird. It underwent a
complete nuts and bolts rotisserie restoration in Los Angeles and was sold by Family
Classic Cars in San Juan Capistrano, California to a lovely lady in Prescott,
Az where it spent five years. I purchased it from her two years ago and had it
transported to North Carolina.
The car is in perfect condition and has a paint job that can’t be equaled. I have driven it to auto shows and local weekend cruises. No chips. No cracks. You are invited to come see this car in person. It is located 50 miles from the Charlotte, NC airport. If you plan to attend the Charlotte Auto Show in April e-mail me to arrange a showing.
I have a 3 inch stack of receipts showing over $65K invested in this beautiful car. It has the original 312 V-8 with factory dress up kit, holly 4 barrel carburetor, and automatic transmission. The carburetor is updated style with electric choke but the original Holly is with the car. During restoration this Thunderbird was updated with a custom aluminum radiator and electric fan for cool cruising. It has 14K miles since full rebuild of all engine, transmission, and running components. With the smooth transmission and power steering, this Thunderbird cruises like a new car.

I also have a video of the car when finished and sold in California that I can share with serious bidders. My reserve is far below my investment in this car.
