1964 Ford Thunderbird Base Convertible 2-Door 6.4L

Hi You are looking at a VERY NICE 86k original mile Ford Thunderbird Convertible 2 owner car from new! This Thunderbird was kept in immaculate original condition through out its life! This is not a reconstructed car, this is a RUST FREE ORIGINAL BODY! The car was bought by a university professor in Scottsdale Arizona, then was moved to Ripon Wisconsin to work at the Ripon university there. He kept a comprehensive record of all service records since he took owner ship of the car. If you look closely at the picture of the engine compartment you will see a ORIGINAL DEALER ADDED CHROME AIR CLEANER AND VALVE COVERS that were installed at the Ford dealer upon original purchase. The engine, transmission, are fresh and both professionally rebuilt within the last 10 years. The transmission being done at the local Ripon Wisconsin FORD DEALER. I have for the next owner a folder showing the maintenance history from the 2nd point of purchase There was a compete repaint done to freshen up the outside color by a professional body shop that looks very nice, and the convertible top looks new and works as it should. All the glass is in excellent condition and the interior is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND IS IN GREAT OVERALL CONDITION ! Chrome looks to be original and is very nice. All parts are on the car, there are no missing peaces with no aftermarket modifications other than the dealer installed chrome engine dress up kit. Tires are good with lots of tread left and in my opinion this Thunderbird can be driven daily with no issues. However it is a old car so it would be a good idea to have the Thunderbird shipped to your location if you live far away. I would love to see this car go to a new owner that will take the time and effort to keep the the car in its current original condition! Comes with a new replacement owners manual, basic repair manuals, and the previous owners service history. There are some issues that need attention that I have taken pictures of, the left door arm rest has a crack in it. Also there are 2 small cracks in the upper dash pad and the inside of the gas pocket has some over spray on the back panel behind the gas cap.This is not a over restored garage queen it is a solid VERY NICE THUNDERBIRD.
