What you seehere for sale is a Very Original Genuine 58,000 Mile 99% Rust Free 1967 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop Landau Coupe - Factory Z Code 390 4V Premium Fuel Cubic Inch (6.4 litre) FE Big Block V8Motor, with C6Automatic Transmission & 9" Diff - Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, AirConditioning, Electric Windows, Tilt Column, 8 Track Stereo & Even Factory Cruise Control.
I brought thiscar in Riato Caifornia which is located in the Inland Empire in California and ithas a very Low Humidy Hot Dry Climate - the car has never left California - SoldNew in Los Angeles Area - it still wears the original Black Number Plates - I brought it off the 88 Year Old 2nd owner of the Car - he brought it 38 Years Ago for His Wife to Drive to the shops - she drove it till 1985 but only did a few thousand Miles a year !!!
I fired up the the Motor yesterday - Motor is real nice and quiet and runs great - Transmission moves forward and Backwards - I drove it on the property and all seems good - I put new Wheel Cylinders in the Rear and bleed the brakes and its good enough to drive it on your Trailer or Transporter - needs one powersteering hose replacing.
It hasnt been registered for 30 Years - it will need to be checked thru mechanically before hitting theroad again.
It did have adent on the Left Rear Guard - this happened the day I picked it up and dropped it off at the shipping yard in USA - it was damaged in the shipping yard after I unloaded it off the Trailer - I had my panel beater hammer it out today and its ready for a little filler - it does have a couple of other very minor dings around the place -original paint car and never been in any big accidents
It has a theoriginal 15" wheels (5 Stud) and tyres with the factory dress hubcaps - it has the Big 4 Piston Kelsey Hayes Front Disc Brakes also!!!
Its still aproject car but a bloody easy one
Just Imported from USA this is a RealClean & Original Car
It Can be Registered inall States a Left hand Drive - I have the Import Approval Permit etc.
The Body isReal Clean and Straight as a whole - it has got a few minor dings & dentsaround the place as well as the left rear 1/4 had some damage but I got my panel beater to hammer it out today - just needs some minor filler to make it as good as new again - all real easy to fixbefore paintingbut most important thing about this car is that it is pretty much rust free
It will need a coat of paintto make it real nice again.
All the Glass isNice - Drivers Window Rolls down on the electric Motor - the rest might need some work - but these have the same motors and parts as the XA XB XC Falcons and Mustangs etc so parts are easy and cheap to get for them.
The Whole Interior is isin amazing condition - It will of course need a New Vinyl Top for Sure as its been weathered off !!!
Its gettingimpossible to find almost Almost Rust Free 1967 Cars these days anywhere letalone real cool looking T Bird that would fit 5 adults - great Sunday Car !!!!
