Ford Thunderbird 1955

For sale is an eclectic, historic, 1955 Ford Thunderbird in excellent overall condition, with low miles and incredible history. Has been in the family since 1957 and was brought over here 8 years ago from Canada.Sadly time to move her on as we don't get enough use out of her. Was fully restored back in the 1980s, with full documentation of that rebuild, along with every thing done on the car since 1957. All receipts also from the time brought here to Australia in 2008.
It is a blue/green colour with removable fibreglass hardtop. Chrome is perfect, mechanically quite good. Near-new white wall tyres, newish battery, newish stainless steel exhaust, rebuilt generator, carby and entire fuel system overhaul, new vacuum advance, front suspension overhaul in 2008, including new shocks all round. she drives very well and doesn't wander around the road which many of the older cars tend to do.
292 c.i.V8 with 3=speed auto, power steering, drum brakes all round, 6-volt electrical system. Also coming with the car is a whole bunch of collectables, including toys, advertising, collectors magazines etc, which would be thrown in for free.
We are seeking to sell, but are not desperate, so please, no 'tyrekickers'. All serious and reasonable offers will be considered.
