Description
1971 Ford Torino 500 for sale. Does not run.
Equipped with 302ci V8, automatic transmission, column shifter.
The good: New battery, starter solenoid, ignition coil, distributor cap,points, spark plug cables and plugs, thermostat. Engine is not seized,crank turns by hand, wants to run when given fuel and power. Parkingbrake works. I have the original wheels in the trunk, spare original tail lights, and GT taillights.
Bad: Exhaust is missing except for manifolds I cleaned up and theamateur attempt I made at down pipes, brakes do not function. The engine hascompression issues, 155psi in the 6th cylinder, 100psi in the 7th, withthe rest falling in that range. Driver's seat is shredded, and driver'sdoor does not open from the outside.
Ugly: Everything else on the car. The fuel lines are nonexistent,radiator/cooling system needs to be replaced. The body and rails have problems with rust, driver and passenger floor pans need to bereplaced. The wiring needs to be completely redone.
