Description
Selling my 1969 Torino Cobra that I acquired over seven years ago true survivor Cobra unmolested and original
The previous owner had owned for over 20 years totally disassembled it including glass for light sand down and minimal body repair.
This was done back in 1988 at a body shop that did not use( bondo) plastic filler just lead, light bodywork was done on the left front fender, passenger door, rear panel and typical
lower rear quarter panel rust. The quarter panel rust was minimal as shown in the pics. Repainted in original Meadowlark Yellow acrylic lacquer the paint has been in place for 28
years now with NO rust reappearing. There is some light lacquer checking on the hood, which is hardly visible and could be reduced with some wet sanding and polish.
NOS parts used were hood pin set, snakes, parking light lenses, pedal pads, shifter knob, exhaust tips and clamps ($400)
Original interior just new carpet have the console but is in poor shape see pics
Engine refreshed by previous owner have receipt, forged pistons and mild Comp cam 268H nice idle slight lope
428 Cobra Jet correct numbers, air cleaner, valve covers, carburetor see pictures and call with questions.
Driven less than 3,000 miles since completion runs and drives out solid like it should
Have data sheet and Marty Report, owners manual, sales brochure and numerous magazine ads and shop manuals
Please call for more information or to arrange inspection
Thanks
John
