Description
I am selling my 1971 Ford Torino GT that I have owned for
over 15 years. I bought the car pre-marriage & kids and since I now am a
family man – I have very little time and even less money to finish this
project! I purchased the car from the original owner. The car has sat in a shed since 2001. It does run and drive! This is a project car that needs work! It has had miscellaneous work done to
it. It needs work! This would make someone a great project
car! It has the original 302 ci engine with
a 2 barrel carburetor that runs great.
In 2000 Hooker Headers and 3” exhaust were installed and roughly 20
miles were put on the car after the upgrades were done. The engine fires up and runs strong. It will need a new battery. It is an automatic transmission with a Hurst
Slap Shift Shifter. Brakes were worked
on in 2000 – but they are currently very weak (leaky line.?.) and needs to be addressed before driving
it! The original paint color is Grabber
Blue. This car has had panels replaced
(due to rust) in the floor pans, quarters and fenders. The car still currently
has body panels that need replacing (see pics).
The interior of the car is in pretty nice condition. The 2 bucket seats will need some new covers. The rear seats are in very nice condition! All the gauges are accounted for and working properly.
This car is not perfect by any means and would need attention before being road worthy – but I do feel it would make someone a GREAT project car and could really be a beautiful car! Even though the Torino runs and drives - it will still need to be trailered to its next home.
It does have a clean title!!

-Automatic transmission (factory)

If you need the car shipped – I can work with you to get it shipped to your location (all shipping costs will be paid for by purchaser). Vehicle is sold as-is and the deposit is not refundable.
