What you see here for sale is a Factory Original Paint Lime Gold Metallic 1968 Ford Torino 2 Door Formal Roof Hardtop - this has a Factory 302 Cubic Inch (4.9 litre) V8 Windsor Motor, with C4 Automatic Transmission - Ford 8" Diff - Factory A/c Car with Power Steering
Ibrought this car in Rialto California and it has a very Low HumidyHOT Dry Climate - the car has never left California - It was Sold Newthere !!!
Itsis definitely a projectcar but well worth the effort - it runs and drives - will need a good check thru on everything mechanicallyincluding Steering Exhaust, Brakes and Suspension before it will be hitting theroads again -
The Motor Sounds Great and Transmission shifts fine - it has a set of exhaust headers and a twin exhaust system
It Can be Registered in all States a Left hand Drive - I have the Import Approval Permit etc .
The Body is Pretty Much Rust Free with one minor rust hole on the R/H Rear Guard Behind the Rear Wheel - The Floors are Mint in the - Itwill need a coat of paint to make it real nice again of course - butits still got the Original Paint on the car - so its a very goodstarting point - its got a few dings and dents around the place butmost importantly there is nearly no rust. Drivers Door has some pretty good dents in it - I got my panel beater to repair it this week its not bad but still needs some more work - but I also have a good replacement door that will come with the car
All the Glass is Real Nice and rolls up and down etc - It needs a Windscreen - but they are the same as a XW XY Falcon so easy to get a new one here
The Interior will need the Usual Stuff - Seat Covers & Carpets etc
It comes with a Set of Genuine Kelsey Hayes Rivetted 12 Slot Wheels with Genuine Ford GT Stainless Hub Caps & Genuine Stainless Wheel Trims - but tyres are all old and dry rotted - so will definetely need some new tyres !!!! Note only the 2 shown in the photos would hold air - but definitely comes with 4 Genuine 12 slots 14" x 6" Rivetted Type
Also I will throw in a Original Genuine Ford GT Torino Bonnet Scoop - not fitted - just sat it on bonnet for photo opportunity - new owner can make the call to cut the holes in the nice bonnet
Its getting impossible to find almost Rust Free 1968 Cars these daysanywhere - Let alone a real cool looking Torino Coupe - Bench Seat Column Change so you can Register it as a 6 Seater - Will Make Great Sunday Car !!!
