Description

1998 Ford Transit Van. Long wheelbase model. This has been an ongoing project I've been doing on and off over the last 2 years. I bought the van with a locked up engine with the idea of getting it back on the road to use within my business. It was a very good base to start with. I've just recently installed a good second hand engine which I had my mechanic check over and install new timing belt, water pump, full clutch kit, pulley belts, filters etc and test run the engine on the bench. All good. I've also had the driver's seat base repaired at the trimmers. It's been given a fully external repaint in the original colour 2 pac diamond white in my worshop by the panel beater/painter. Only a few minor repairs were required to the body. There was no rust in this van at all. Tyres are good and windscreen is too. New brakes were done by the original owner just prior to the engine expiring. There is also a cargo barrier that goes with it. There are 2 good spare fuel injector pumps plus a few spare pulleys, bolts etc plus a workshop manual.
All parts to finish it are in the rear of the van. It still needs the exhaust, radiator, power steering hoses, air cond, fuel lines, air box, some wiring etc to be connected. Bumper bars, grill and headlights etc are in the back of the van as I stated. I don't have any batteries as they didn't come with it when I bought it. I've tried to explain it the best as I can but if you have any questions please ask prior to bidding. Happy for anyone to come and have a look at it before the auction ends but if you bid on it and win it it's yours to pay for and keep. That's the rules.
This is a non running project at the moment and needs a few more hours spent on it by the next owner to finish it. My circumstances have changed and my business doesn't require me to have a van anymore hence I've decided to move it on. I just don't have the time to finish it off and it has been taking up room in my workshop and the space is needed for customers vehicles and other jobs.
Buyer to arrange pickup. Buyer to make contact via ebay messages within 24hrs of end of auction and payment within 7 days. Sorry but that's the conditions of sale as I've been dudded too many times before by rogue buyers. They get reported to ebay from now on. Thanks for looking and good luck.
Listed privately for sale so may be withdrawn any time.
