Description
I am the only owner of this vehicle since bought new from City Ford in 1998. Mechanically well look after as I did a lot of interstate runs in this vehicle and never wanted a brake down. Always serviced by Shire Clutch and Brake at Taren Point. New radiator and water pump fitted only 1000km ago.
Has a Blueys Ute World roller shutter on the back to prevent theft of tools. Tailgate is damaged. As can be seen from photographs the paintwork was only resprayed about 2 years ago and has been stored in my factory since that time.
The 4 wheel disc brakes are drilled and slotted with Bendix Ultimate pads fitted.
For a Ford V8 the motor has done only 220,000km of mostly highway kilometres, which means its just run in. Unlike Holden motors that are ready for a rebuild after this many kilometres. This is a fact and its why most Taxi's are Fords !!!
The vehicle is a genuine Tickford built car and came standard with tuned length extractors. There is a second fuel tank installed in the back which gives the vehicle about 900km range so you can get to Melbourne without stopping for gas. Also fitted is a Rollbar with orange hazard light operated from the dash. Also fitted is a Bigmouth cold air induction kit, which helps to get about 500km per 65Litre tank on highway cycle.
