Ford Zephyr 1960 Mk2 Wagon

Hi you are bidding on a very rare, Ford Zephyr mk2 station wagon produced in Broad Meadows August 1960. Factory standard, apart from brand new radial tyres.
This car is stock and very original, purchased from a very good friend with the intention to restore as a business promotional vehicle. Plans have since changed, although she is a beautiful grace.
The car has been fully stripped on the exterior, prepared for respraying, all rust removed and tig welded repairs using 316 stainless filler wire. The end result making the panel better than factory.
Resprayed in the original Merino white, perfect match to factory. The flash and roof is close to original green, just a little brighter and the car is finished off with the additional stainless steel factory flash kit.
Great points; resprayed in acrylic lacquer, zero rust and all work done professionally and properly. 96000 miles on the clock, genuine. The running gear is in good condition, it is driven daily to the workshop, a 60 mile round trip. The interior is as you see it, original and unmolested and still having the old car fragrance inside. Chrome is in good nick, some pitting due to age.
Points that will require finishing to make mint; engine bay needs some more cleaning and would benefit from a respray as well. I am willing and able to do this on your behalf for a reasonable cost, same for the repainting the engine.
This is a very good car with minimal to do to make mint, unfortunately too many projects on at the moment for me to keep her. What you're getting here is a very rare, attractive car that will only escalate in value. Currently insured for everyday use at $25k.
