Description
Thank you for looking at this one of a kind truck in very original condition. Big rear window GMC 1/2 ton but not the short bed. This is what would be classified as a survivor type truck. We did extensive work in 2017 to get this running, driving and had it up on a lift to inspect every part of it.
Shows only 58k plus miles, appears to be original. Has the Pontiac 316 engine with Hydramatic transmission. Appears to be a numbers matching truck with only one re paint. According to the numbers it was built in the San Jose, California plant. Has clear title in my name, currently on a non operation as it's been in storage the last year.
So the work done so far on this truck is as follows:
Rebuilt water pump, starter, power brake master cylinder, rear end, rear shocks were replaced, tune up, carburetor, hoses, belts. We bought a nice triple plate rear bumper and removed the farm bumper from it. New bumper brackets and bolts for rear as well. We installed re chromed original head light rings to replace pitted ones. New parking light lenses, correct radiator cap, fuel filter.
This truck was sanded down to the original white paint, original markings from factory can be seen under hood. Drivers side door lower hinge needs repair as it sags. Tail gate is missing. We removed the wood from bed and found no cancer. Very solid truck. No signs of accidents. Some cancer bubbles on lower corner of cab, rear fenders which is common. The wiring needs replacing. That is what it really needs to be a daily driver.
