1998 GMC Sierra 1500
New carpet, custom leather seats, headliner, dash cover, Pioneer CD player with navigation, MP3, USB, smart phone compatible and back-up camera ready, new front bearings, CV axles, rotors, brakes, power steering pump, power steering box, front linkages, tie rod ends, steering shaft, ball joints, spark plugs and wires, points, sensors, cruise control switch, AC display, radio speakers, new GMC metallic black paint and clear coat. Spray-in bed liner, B&W gooseneck hitch, new headlights, tail lights and bulbs.,
Serviced or replaced include rear axle is a 14-bolt (9.5" ring gear) with government locker and 6-lug wheel pattern and Late model GMC wheels.
Truck is in excellent condition, but it is not showroom new. Mechanically; I have replaced everything that needed servicing. Motor runs strong and does not use oil, but leaks a little past the rear main (about 1-quart between oil changes). Transmission is strong and does not slip or search for gears (no leaks). Transfer case and front axle were both serviced and push button 4-wheel drive works perfectly and also no leaks. Body and frame are rust free as expected from a Florida truck and AC is cold like it should be. Only blemishes are a little oil canning in the passenger door and some imperfections in the clear coat. This truck is a perfect truck for anyone wanting to relive the good old days of GM and 1998 was the last year for this body style in the 1/2 ton trucks.
