Description
Up for auction is a 2009 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab with the Duramax Diesel. This has been my daily driver for the last two years and has zero rust on body panels and does not have any performance modifications. This was a southern Truck from South Carolina and this has helped with no rust on the body, does have surface rust on frame. Once I purchased the Truck the following items were completed / added;
1. All fluids were changed to Amsoil products, Amsoil fuel additive used at every fill up.
2. Amsoil oil bypass system.
3. Center armrest safe (Pew Pew Storage).
4. Retraceable rear step to get into the bed.
5. Weather Tech floor Matts, rear seat storage unit.
6. Linux Spray in liner.
7. New Michelin Tires (Tire Discounters)
The following are what is wrong with the Truck.
1. Does have minor paint chips and scratches, they are normal wear and tear with the age/milage.
2. Dash has crack about 1/2 inch long above passenger airbag. There is a open recall for the passenger airbag that any GMC dealer can complete and covered by GM.
3. The thermostat triggered the check engine light. I went to replace it and the light went off. This will need to be replaced as part of normal wear and tear.
4. Right above the dash bezel the the black plastic needs to be screwed in. Do not know what size screws needed so I have not fixed this yet.
5. Interior drivers seat has normal wear and tear for its age, but these seats are prone to cracking over time.
6. Fuel Sending Sensor is having issues, when the fuel gage reads empty and you fill up the truck the fuel gage takes anywhere from 10-100+ miles to have an accurate reading. Once 20 gallons are used I fill up to play it safe.
I have two spare fuel filters and Allison Spin on filter that come with the truck; fuel filter needs changed. I have brake parts (Front/Rear Pads, Front/Rear Rotors) that can be purchased for and extra $400 (paid $600) I planned on doing the brakes this past summer, when I pulled the tires off brake pads had plenty of material left.
This is not a rusty truck with high miles looking for high price. This is a stock truck that has great bones and will make someone very happy. Below is a video that shows a walk around of the Truck and any issues that I can find and will point out. Please reach out with any questions, this is being sold AS IS - No Warranties as this is a private sale. If you plan on paying actual cash, I will meet you at my bank as it will be deposited on the spot and the title will be signed over.
I WILL NOT RESOND TO THE QUESTION "WHAT IS THE RESERVE?"
