1982 GMC K30
3/4 ton /1 Ton 4X4
This is one of the toughest, nicest trucks you can find! I bought this from a transmission shop manager 2 years ago.
- He had freshened the 454 big block engine and installed a mild cam.
- Rebuilt the transmission and installed a mild stall converter.
-Installed a new Lokar floor shifter
- Rebuilt the 208 transfer case
- Rebuilt Dana 60 front and Corporate 14 bolt rear.
- Converted to rear disc brakes and an in cab proportioning valve.
- 8" lift
Other features and upgrades since I have it
-Brand new Vintage Air AC and heating system
-Painless wiring dual battery set up with in cab controller
- Two new Interstate batteries
- New Radiator
- New dual electric fans with thermostat and bypass switch
- New stereo
- Tachometer
- Steps
- Bushwacker fender flares
This trucks runs, sounds and looks awesome. It has 4:11 gears and 38" Super Swampers. Always gets looks and compliments. I also installed new fuel tank floats, fuel tank switching valve, belts, hoses. I built and used this truck for summer fun with the boat and reliability was the objective. I have never had a problem with the truck before or after modifications. I sold my car and bought a brand new truck so I no longer need this one. Hate to see it go but I have too many vehicles. Please come look. I promise the first to see it will buy it! I'm sure I'm missing other items but I think you get the idea! This truck sold but VIN came back as a 3/4 ton. That is about the only thing about this truck that isn't one ton.
