Description
2012 Denali 2500HDDuramax 6.6L engine and Allison 6 speed transmission.
I bought this truck because I always wanted a diesel crew, to move from one province to another and had a couple of large trailers to move. It worked amazing for that. It pulled a 30ft toy hauler loaded to the gills so easily I was surprised when it down shifted and that was pulling through the Rocky Mountains. It did the same pulling and 18ft car hauler with my and my wife’s life packed inside. It has never had a 5th wheel or goose neck hitch installed. The truck has never ceased to impress me, and I get positive comments about it all the time.
The downsides of the truck are few. The mileage 124XXX miles (200,XXXKm) is one. The other would be the paint isn't perfect. The front shows some rock chips, the sides have some small scratches. Normal wear and tear, from 10ft the truck looks perfect. It has a couple of rock chips in the windshield. I will have those repaired before a sale is completed.
Why am I selling? Well, a couple of reasons really. 1st is I am starting a new business, and although I can afford the payments, my life would be easier without them. 2nd is I am using this truck as an in town grocery getter now that the move is done and it is truly a waste of what this truck is made for. Although as comfortable as any car on the road, it is just not meant to live doing ten minute drives. It needs to be running longer than that. If I could, I would keep it and have a small truck to drive every day. But if you look at reason one, you can figure out why I am not doing that.
The full service records can be accessed through the original selling dealer, and the dealer I work with now. I can provide the dealer names upon request.
The truck is mainly stock. When I bought it in Febuary of 2015, I became the second owner. When I got the truck it had a few things done to it. A levelling kit, 3M front end protection, down pipe back exhaust with dpf and cat removed, XTR Pro tunner, and bug deflector were about it. I put in the slide in bed liner when I bought it (I went slide in because I used to carry snowmobiles). Since then, March 2015, new head gaskets. April 2015 new Nokian tires and new Rancho RS5000 shocks. May 2015, LED headlights, low and high beam. July 2015, new drag link and pitman arm & full inspection by local gmc dealer. Since buying I have had the oil changed twice, it currently has 66% life remaining on that change. Before first snow fall I had the truck polished to help protect it for the winter.
The truck itself is a full load. It would take forever to go through all of them. The only option it doesn't have that I think was available is the rear drop down TV. It has the touch screen NAV with hard drive and XM. It is the Onyx interior, it don't think the rear seat has been used twenty times since new. I leave it up almost all the time. Sunroof is great and an option I would get again. It has the back up camera with guide lines you can turn on or off. Engine/exhaust brake is another useful option on this truck for towing, as well as the integrated trailer brakes. The towing system works amazing in cross winds and twisty roads. The truck will easily pull 20mpg if you stay at 60mph. It also gets 16-18mph pulling my 18ft enclosed trailer. It will impress you with the work it can do. The tuner is currently set in performance mode, with minimum added fueling. This way it doesn't throw too much black smoke if you floor it. Under normal driving, it never throws black smoke. If you want it to, just turn up the low boost fueling.
I will assist with shipping and export however I can. The billing of that will be entirely buyers responsibility. There are several brokers and dealers who can assist you in that process and specialize in just that. The importing process takes about 5 days from start to finish if you follow all the rules. Even some shippers on uship can help with the process. The truck is located in Penticton BC Canada. It can be viewed here and inspections are welcome.
The truck is sold without warranty expressed or implied. The truck does have a lean with the general bank of Canada. I will need the lean portion of the payment made out to both the bank and myself, the remainder to me only. Once you win the bid, a 500$ non refundable deposit will be immediately required. Full payment within 7 days, the truck will not be released until full payment is received. If you have a 0 rating, please contact before bidding. Please ask any questions before bidding.
If you are interested and have a partial trade, let me know. I would look at a specific vehicles. 1987-2000 chev/gmc crew cab Dually, 2wd lowered or bagged. Flat track bike, 250-500, may look at framer. Ducati motorcycles, 748, 749, or any air cooled 2v.
If there are pictures you would like to see, or questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck bidding on this great truck.
