Description
****1967 HOLDEN HK PANEL VAN - ORIGINAL PAINT / INTERIOR / ENGINE - EX ST. KILDA BAKER'S VAN****
RELISTED DUE TO WINNER PULLING OUT - NO RESERVE - MUST SELL!!!!!
Up for auction is this beautifully preserved Holden HK Panel Van GTS Tribute. It is a matching numbers original pre-release production model, which was sold while the HR Holden was still being sold new. This vehicle came out of the Adelaide Holden factory and was used as a Baker's Delivery van in St. Kilda, Melbourne for a few short years prior to being de-commissioned and garaged.
Has been garaged since 1971 and recently received a running gear overhaul, which included master cylinder, brakes, clutch, alternator, battery etc etc. Runs well and could be used as a daily driver or be restored for club rego. The extend of the rust on the body is displayed in the photos.
The interior is complete and features the original (and very rare) colour-fleck board on the rear of the bench seat and rear of van (pictured). Those that are familiar with these models will appreciate how rare this feature is. The wheels are period-correct ROH "Hustler" mags.
I am auctioning the vehicle on behalf of an astute automotive collector that is moving premises so all vehicles must go. The reserve is set low for a quick sale.
The vehicle is located in Brisbane and transport can be arranged at the winning bidder's expense.
