Up for grabs is my 1987 Holden VL Commodore Berlina (Turbo Converted)
----RELISTED DUE TO SOMEONE WITH HAPPY FINGERS----
----STRICTLY NO SWAPS OR INTERSTATE BUYERS AS I HAVENT GOT TIME TO TRAVEL----
The car itself is in really good condition for its age, it once was a N/A and i did the Full Turbo conversion. Comes on boost perfect with no surging and doesnt detonate at all, runs only on 98 octane and all electrical display works, also A/C works ice cold and has power steering. The intercooler kit is a No Holes Kit so the engine bay has no holes for RWC, all you would need to do is run air box piping to the original air box which i will supply with the sale.
I have been driving the vehicle everywhere as its very reliable and turns alot of heads. I am a older mature guy so i take pride when working on my cars and always use the best products so no taking short cuts. To make the car perfect would need the following fixed up:
Disc rear end with LSD
Paint front bumper
Upgrade brakes all round to maybe VN V8
Nistune
Other than that I can confidently say the car is very well looked after for its age and drives absolutely mint, as I have said I always use the best quality products when working on cars as I want them to perform there best!
The vehicle is on club reg so will be sold plates off however you can organise a permit to drive home once its paid for in full. The car has club reg through Lilydale District Car Club Of Victoria, they know the VL very well so on purchase you can re-assign club reg through them.
OVERALL CONDITION: Has a little rust under rear window which you can see in the photos, Needs front bumper painted, Needs bigger brakes as rear end is drum open wheeler, Has a tear in drivers seat.
The car is not a factory turbo however it has had the right parts fitted to make it converted properly as i wanted it reliable so it has the following parts:
Factory Turbo Computer
Factory Turbo Inlet manifold
Factory Turbo injectors
Factory Turbo Fuel Reg
Factory Nissan Turbo (no shaft play) - Dose pipe fitted
Pacemaker 3 inch dump pipe into custom inch exhaust into 3 inch dump (new)
Full polished no holes intercooler kit (has bottom section blacked out - Is a new cooler kit)
Fresh Penrite HPR30 oil through it along with new oil filter
Fresh fuel filter
Boosted to 10psi
Boost controller (new)
Autometer boost/vac gauge (new)
Headlights (new)
Berlina tail lights (new)
Standard head deck
