This 30 year old survivor Calais has had only 2 previous owners,
the first being Channel 9 (Television Broadcasters pty ltd) 1985 – 1989,
the second being one of the mechanics who worked at the Holden Dealership it
was traded at 1990 – 2011. I bought this vehicle with 184,000kms and have
only driven it on occasions, otherwise it has beengaraged.


The paint on the top of the car has deteriorated, this car is begging for a full respray,
there is a few minor dints and scratches, but no major collision repairs evident.
I have removed the front 2 passenger side mouldings to prevent permanent damage
as they had started to lift when they dislodged from the mounting clips.
The only rust I can find is in the the boot lip seem under the rubber seal, otherwise
all is good, the usual spots around the windscreen rubbers look to be rust free.


This Calais would make a great shell for a HDT mock up,
or to restore and drive on club rego


Currently registered in QLD, last roadworthy inspection was last year,
Car is being sold as unregistered without plates,
However a roadworthy and registration can be negotiated for an additional cost.


In the last 3,000kms this car has had the following maintenance:


Suspension
Front Struts and top mounts, low king springs, ball joints and tie rod ends
Radius rod, front lower control arm & sway bar link bushes
Rear upper and lower control arm bushes.


Engine
New cam (standard) and timing gear kit,
bottom end bearings, linished crank, rear main seal
Water pump, hoses, thermostat and housings
Coil, ignition module, spark plugs and leads
Fuel pump and filter


Trans
Trans pan filter, Input shaft seal, and selector seal.
