Description

Up for sale are my cars 2x VT Commodores
*These cars are being sold for parts or someone that wants to repair the cars as they are not used for daily driving anymore and are being sold as is.*
1x 1997 VT 5 litre executive Bermuda Blue in Color 250000k
I have owned this car for around 10 years and it was my daily driver until about 2 years ago when i decided to stop driving it I am the second owner and the car still has a full service history plus all the extra money i spent on it over the years
I stopped driving it due to a leaky rear main seal and parked it up at the farm where the sun has done its damage to the car it sat in the sun for around 2 years . All that is needed to run the car is a battery and some fuel new tires and it fires first go and also one of the z link bushes needs replacing as i think the fitter fitted it to tight when i got the suspension done. I have always used genuine holden parts when replacing anything on the car such as the radiator / starter motors etc unless better parts where available such as suspension components.
The Roller motor would suit a re gasket as most gaskets are weeping I had the lifters done at 190,000kms and everything looked fine then had good compression and aftermarket lifters where fitted at a cost of 900 just for the lifters alone.
The last service i had done to it it had a dyno run and produced 198hp at the rear wheels that was just before i parked it up aircond doesn't work anymore because it has sat around but still engages so i assume the compressor is still OK.
The car has a HBD/HSV build badge it is no 44 and has a badge for HBD and also HSV plus the normal compliance plates. I believe the first owner had the suspension done that's where the badges come from.
The car was great for me it broke down 3 times in 10 years 1time the starter motor 2nd time the alternator 3rd time the fuel pump and other than that it never failed me once.
the car has deteriorated in the weather as the photos will show and the car needs a lot of work to bring it up to any standard
Any more info just ask
1x 1999 VT commodore Bermuda Blue 3.6 Litre Sedan. 205000km
This car has been around the family since new it was a friends company car and he brought it of the company he worked for so he was the only driver for years. I got the car from him 2 years ago.
He never looked after the car but fixed it when ever something was wrong and it still is a perfectly safe to drive car and i drive it daily.
in the last 12 months I have repaired as followed on this car
Fuel pump and module$457 dollars
New master cylinder $450 dollars
new radiator and hoses$350 dollars
new ignition $180 dollars.
Now the car seems to have a itermitted Bcm problem as it doesnt seem to be reading the key propley I dont know and I dont care thats why it is being sold as is. but is not a major problem to someone that's switched on. I planned on using the parts and bonnet etc on the v8 from this car so it is being sold also with it.
I had the RAA out to look at it today about the BCM and said it is way to good for wrecking so I am selling as is.
It also needs new tyres and a castor bush
The car was hit at the front 2 years ago in the carparkof TTP shopping center by a old lady that couldn't use her brakes fromsome reason so the front end was rebuilt by Alan Doyle crash repair by insurance so all the bonnet and guards where replaced aircon is new plus what ever else needed doing
aircond works fine in this car and was a good day to day car to drive around in until the BCM issue.
So I am clearing out my driveway to get a new car as the Vt era of car served us well but its time to get something new.
I have the Books for the VT V8 as i have owned that for years and I will try find the dyno sheets and all the work I have had done to it as there is heaps of receipts lost around the place.
I have nearly 1000 bucks worth of receipts for the VTV6 and all the stuff above is still under warranty.
there is 2 good condition Bridgestone tyres and 2 new bridgstone spare tyres so you could make a set of Bridgestone tyres for one car should you choose.
The paint is hammered on both cars from spending to much time in the sun.
Refer to the pics as that will show the condition of the cars. I will add better pics in the morning as it is to dark to get any better ones now.
Cars are being sold as is as I plan on buying a new car so i am not interested in them anymore.
Any Question please ask Both Cars will be getting used as a trade in on the 15th of July so after the 10th i will remove them from here and prepare them for trade ins.
You are welcome to make an offer on each car but if it doesn't match the car yards trade in they are gong to the car yard
