VT COMMODORE DRAG CAR.This project has only just been completed and is a recent street commodores cover car.
Car has been thoroughly put together with drag racing and powercruise events in mind and features only the best of the best aftermarket and performance components available on the market.
There has not been one dollar spared with this build, every component has been addressed and the vehicle was completed less then 500ks ago so mechanically this car is brand new.
FEATURES
1000+RWHP 408ci LS engine combo, currently the car makes 916rwhp, this is initial tune 20psi 98 octane pump fuel (through powerglide) engine has been professionally built by Castle Hill Performance and is built for up to 30psi and e85, just changing to E85 on the same boost will see over 1000rwhp.
engine features Lunatti crank and rods, JE Pistons, Higgins CID LS7 Heads, T&D Rockers, Moroso external belt driven oil pump,Holley hi ram manifold, 8X ID2000 injectors Custom turbo setup with Garrett GT55 103mm turbo charger, Plazmaman pro series intercooler, twin Turbosmart wastegates 4" dump into dual 3" full exhaust with varex rear muffler. Setup also features speedflow hoses and fittings throughout entire car.
DRIVELINE
includes brand new 2 speed powerglide, transbrake b&m pro ratchet shifter by Als race glides, built particularly for engine combo, custom converter, custom 2 piece tailshaft, full spool 3.07 ratio diff, complete g force drive shaft setup.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT
Haltech Elite 2500 ecu including boost control, full flex fuel, Racepak logger dash, Racepak smart wire, 2x 4 channel EGT, wide band, car also runs dbw throttle which can be setup for full traction control, this car is fitted with all of the latest technology in engine management.
CAR
The car it self is in good condition throughout, this is a purpose built car for racing and powercruise events it is very neat but is NOT a show car. It has only just been Andra tech inspected and is ready to go racing! The car has 6 point chromolly role cage, removable side bar, parachute setup, front brake line lock, brand new slotted discs and rotors all round, completely rebushed with nolathane bushes, 90/10 front shocks, fully adjustable coil over setup in the rear, It has 2 tail shaft loops. The car has 45L fuel cel and weldon pump.
Car includes the SSV wheels pictured, plus 3 other sets of wheels and tyres including 1x set of weld prostars with mickey thompson slicks and front runners, another set of weld draglites fitted with street tyres and a set of VZ SS wheels, so you are buying a complete setup ready for events and racing.
Interior features 2x velo seats front, custom carpet, leather ss rear seat and door trims.
