I’m the third owner of this car and have had it for over 100,000 kms.
I had the modifications done to the LS1 when I bought the Crewman because I wanted some more grunt when towing and didn’t like the factory note from the exhaust.
It now has has more low end power than your standard 5.7lt LS1 and tows magnificently.
I've driven it the entire time with Shell Optimax 98 Octane.The original Blaupunkt radio has been replaced with a Pioneer all-in-one Satellite Navigation System, ensuring no more speeding fines as it warns you if you are speeding (although this feature can be muted). It also plays DVD’s should your front seat passenger want to watch a movie on the go, or just watch music clips instead of only listening to the tunes.
Bluetooth connectivity allows easy hands free conversations while driving.
12 inch LCD DVD Player installed in the roof by Holden keeps the kids occupied on those long trips.
Body is in need of some minor panel beating as I dropped the tailgate down with a trailer hitched to the tow ball. Has stone chips on the front and the usual scuffs from a daily driven car.
Colour coded 20” mags make this car a real head turner. 5th mag (identical) does not have a tyre and is brand new still in box. There is a steel spare in the undercarriage.
Installed a new water pump in the last service and the battery is 6 months old. Four new tyres with 98% tread.
No time wasters please.
