Description

I am reluctantly selling my VZ V8 SS Crewman as there is no longer room to keep it. The car has all of the standard equipment like leather seats, climate control air conditioning, full electric windows, remote central locking, 2 keys, roof mounted DVD screen. It also has a 7" full colour screen entertainment system that incorporates a reverse camera, GPS system, USB, Ipod, SD Card, AM/FM Radio, DVD, Digital TV, CD player and Bluetooth phone conectivity. The DVD player runs to the roof mounted screen in the back and is a real hit with the Grand Kids. I have also fitted voltage and oil pressure gauges into a HSV pod mounted in the top of the dash. The rear tub is fitted with a tub liner and I have also fitted a dual battery system with the second battery mounted under the tub. There are two cigarette type sockets as well as an Anderson type plug as power supplies in the rear tub as well as one cigarette socket under the back seat fed from the second battery. These plugs were used for fridges and a 240 volt inverter without affecting the cars main battery whilst being charged from the car alternator. It can also be used for jump starting the car if the main battery is flat. It also has alloy racks and towbar, 18" wheels with good tyres that have the correct load rating for the car, single 2 1/2" exhaust that has an awesome note. Headlights are projector that incorporate LED daytime running lights.
The engine had the camshaft and heads modified about three years ago and has a nice lump when idling and is very responsive under acceleration, to match this up the transmission has had a shift kit installed. I do not have the details of what work has been done but it has been reliable and easy to drive. When I purchased the car it was producing just over 300 kw but I had this reduced to about 270 kw at its last tune. The water pump, power steering pump and radiator was also replaced three years ago. Last year I did a 13,000 klm road trip towing a small van without any problems. I have just replaced all of the idler pullies for the drive belts as well as had the tailshaft fully refurbished, as noted in the faults section the lifters rattle every now and again for a few seconds on a cold morning start up. The main battery is also only a couple of months old. The registration is current until the 31st of May 2015.
The general condition of the car is very good, apart from the minor dents in the tailgate there are no other dents in the car and the main body paintwork being in excellent condition - there are some marks on the lower front panel that are fair wear & tear. There is too much to mention here regarding the car but if you leave your contact details with Ebay I will call you back to discuss the car in more detail.
