For auction is a 1956 fe holden special sedan It is pretty original except for the hp motor and the disc brake front end .
Car is complete and wouldn't need much to put back on the road
Very good body was in storage for over 19 year ,doors, sills, floors, subframe, rear quarters and boot very solid.
Was painted black in the early 90,s. last reg in mid 90,s
.
To get car to safe driving condition it would need tyres, wheel alignment, rear shocks, new stabiliser rubbers, front disc pads and maybe an electric wiper motor.
Brake hoses have been replaced, rear wheel cylinders also kits in both master cylinders, new clutch hose and slave cylinder, rear shackle rubbers front and rear
Motor and gearbox and diff all seem ok .
All lights work, horn works and so does hand brake.
Paint is in good condition but has some crows feet over boot and bonnet
Interior is pretty clean rear seat has some small cracks on the top, front has had a few repairs and is missing the plastic trims but still very usable and not sagged headlining has a small tear at the back
Door rubbers are all good
All in all its a pretty clean car for the age not a show car but a good car to drive as is or an excellent car to restore
Getting hard to get an fe in good condition these days that doesn't need a full resto or is selling for big dollars
Car is being sold as is no reg or RWC and condition as described
No test drivers on the road as it is unreg .
I have driven it only up and Down our drive to test brakes and gearbox and all seem good
Could drive home on a permit but that would up to the buyer .
Can work in with transport company's if you organise
