FJ Standard Sedan (single colour).
Built October 1955 the 6866th Standard body made at Woodville SA.FJ Standard Sedan (single colour).
It has a Type 1 ID Plate 1853-55 (October 1955)
We bought this car to make a fleet of 3 FJs as we were going to start an Aussie wedding/hire car business but due to excessive amounts of government red tape to get 60 year old cars approved for this we just dont have the time and we have given up on the idea. This is a running drivable car , as you can see in the pics it is running the rare twin carbs air cleaner and manifold from a X2 and extractors the wheel studs have been chnged to FE to HT pattern and it comes with 4 x 13 inch Jelly bean mags (2 are in the back seat).The battery has been mounted in the boot The brakes need attention possibly new wheel cylinders and it should be good to go so obviously someone did some work to this car before we got it , It has rust in the usual spots front floor panels which are available from rare spares and are easy to replace. The Y frames are sound . The Front Bumper comes with the car and is also currently in the back seat with the door trim panels
We just dont have the time to complete this our 3rd FJ so it has to go hopefully to someone who will devote the time required to bring it up to a presentable standard. We are in Port Pirie SA 220km NW of Adelaide all of the major freight company's have depots here. Easy rego we have the required papers.
