Holden Frontera (4x4) 2000 SE with Low Kilometres.

Now, I know what you are probably thinking
You are probably thinking "Is this add serious, have I finally found THE Holden Frontera in GREEN! that I've coveted for so long.?"
This vehicle is a mysterious unicorn in the Australian wilderness, it has four wheel drive at the push of a button and is extremely capable off road or on the beach, however not as well known as the Landcruisers or Patrols. That said, I don't think she's ever done any work off road so she's a great base to build on.
Give her a 2 inch lift and make her tall, easy. Slap some all terrains and head out country, no problem..
With driver and passenger airbags she's safe as houses, regardless of whether you are hitting the trails or driving to the shops. With a large hatch area she's ready to hall rubbish to the dump, or food to the table.
But..
She has a sensitive side. Her recently serviced 3.2 liter V6 engine is very responsive and offers both Economy and Power mode. Her 5 speed gear box is smooth when changing and she sits firmly on four new rubber tires. Even she'd admit that she's not quite as pretty as she once was, but scars are cool, right.? No major dents beyond a few trolley pings, and a little paint damage where I clipped the garage one day.
My Girlfriend wouldn't stop laughing..
So as funky as she is, she doesn't get used in the way that she needs to be and I'm no longer meeting her needs. I'm failing her as an owner by not taking her anywhere. I live close to the city and pretty much use public transport for everything.
Please note, the vehicle is being sold without registration and a road worthy. Don't let this put you off, she is a very clean and straight SUV with very low kilometers for her age, and has not given me any trouble. When she was in for a service recently I asked my mechanic what she would need for a Road worthy and he advised that she would require new wiper blades, and that there was some oil on the under carriage that would need to be spray cleaned. It may simple be splashed oil left over from days gone by or it may need a seal replaced.
She certainly doesn't leak or burn through any oil so I'm thinking it's probably just old build up that needs to be cleaned. A couple of months ago the radiator also leaked, I patched it and it's fine for the moment but at some point you'll need to replace it. It's not a Road worthy issue and probably wouldn't need to be replaced for a good twelve months.
So that's her with all her warts, you may need to factor in $300 - $500 for the maintenance stuff and after that you'll have a very healthy 4x4 that will take you wherever you need to go for many years to come.
I have of course reduced the price to factor in you having a spend a few of your hard earned $$.
