Description
Up for sale today is our 2002 Holden Barina SRI (also known as an Opel Corsa C)This car has been owned by our family since new and has been a reliable and fun car to own and drive.
The car has been the family spare for the past few years, being used occasionally when other cars are in for service.
Car has an aftermarket CD player with ipod input, and Vibe audio front 6.5" speakers, and Jaycar response 4" rear coax. All wiring under front seat to run an amp and sub
Within the last 3 years (~20,000ks) we have fitted new shocks all round, a new clutch, new o2 sensor, AFM, 16" wheels and matching tires and battery (within the last 6 months)
This car is fun to drive; plenty of power from the larger SRI 1.8lt engine, fast steering response and at only 1033kg it is good on fuel. Excellent car to learn to drive on, for a first car, or for a fun city car.
The Car has high K's, mostly Freeway between the southern highlands and Canberra for weekly trips for a number of years. It is missing the plastic trim that goes over the front passenger wheel arch, and the paint is faded on the roof and bonnet, so we painted it matte black.
The cruise control doesnt always set, i believe the TPS is dirty.
The car will happily pass its next pink slip, if it remains in the condition in which it is sold
This car isnt perfect or brand new, but it is reliable and fun to drive and a bargain. It is sold as is, PM if you wish to inspect, bid to buy not look, winning bidder to pay withing 2 days of end of auction, and collect within 30 unless other wise organised. Non-paying winners WILL be reported
Happy Bidding!
