Description
You are bidding on 2001 vx calais 5.7L Auto leather interior in good running condition 298,000 kms, previous owner replaced the engine at 105,000km
I have looked after this car replacing everything it needed. serviced every 10,000 kms. New: starter motor, alternator, brake pads and disc machining,tyres ,fuel pump, tail shaft( centre bearing was worn). I have replaced the main seal ( common problem with gen 3) and the sump gasket, so there is NO OIL LEAKS AT ALL
The air conditioning compressor is new( there is $1000 just there) and re-gas So the A/C is real cold
The drivers seat has been bolstered and the leather repaired by Blackmans ( who made the seats when new)
All the electrics work perfect except the cd changer has an error code( was like it when I bought it) and the steering wheel is a standard commodore wheel with steering controls ( all working as well), I have the original leather wheel it needs recovering. One of the front bumper clips is broken from when I had the bar painted for stone chips ( you can hardly notice it)
Also has 18' VE SS rims with new tyres. The paint is a bit faded only on the rear spoiler, the rest ofthe paint work is real good ( i had a professional cut and polish cost $700)
I have receipts for all the work i have done to this car
Overall the the car is very clean inside and out. no dints no damage. Has rego till oct 14 but car is to be "sold in as is condition no rwc"
All the issues of a car this age have been addressed, only selling to upgrade, and as everyone knows car yards give you next to nothing for trade in these days!
